1. My favorite job ever was scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins.
2. I can't stand being close to other people's feet.
3. In high school I was a swimmer and a diver.
4. I got 2 college degrees in four years in English and Spanish.
5. I was an intern for the Chris Baker show on one of Houston's AM talk radio stations. I ended up getting hired as a board operator.
6. My husband proposed to me on 11-11-11.
7. We had the most beautiful intimate beach wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico!
8. I lived in a chicken house for a few years while I was in the Peace Corps in El Salvador. It was complete with baby rats, bats, and other critters. There were cows in my front yard and chickens that lived on my porch. I slept under a mosquito net, had no plumbing so the bathroom was a hole in the ground outside, and I washed my clothes by hand on a rock. Living in El Salvador was the most pivotal and strengthening time of my life.
9. I cannot wait to drink some wine and eat some sushi again one day.
10. Even though pregnancy is challenging, I still dream of having a big family with lots of kids :)
11. I've taken guitar lessons off and on since college. I've never gotten very good. Maybe one day.

13. My first job ever was being a lifeguard at the YMCA.
14. My favorite TV Show is Teen Mom. Guilty pleasure.
15. Being a middle school teacher was the toughest job I ever had. Just wasn't for me. I think I would be a much better elementary school teacher!
16. I love eating pupusas!
17. I frequently do not think about my words before I say them. This gets me into trouble sometimes.
18. I hope to live in Africa one day.
19. I love the Counting Crows. Always have. Always will.
20. Plain pepperoni pizza is my favorite kind of pizza.
21. I don't mind cooking... but I hate the planning and preparation involved. It's also dangerous sending me to the grocery store pregnant... I spend so much!
22. I hope I am as good of a parent as my parents have always been to me.
23. My favorite childhood memories are from the time I spent with my family just having fun- like at the pool at my grandma's house, or just dancing around the living room.
24. We bought a minivan when we moved back to the states and I love it! I think it's the coolest car ever. Haha, I never thought I'd own a minivan, let alone be so excited about it! The only reason I can drive it without banging it into everything is because it has sensors that beep at me when I get close to stuff.
25. I would rather spend my free time at home more now than ever before. I think it's part of the nesting.
#22 made me tear up. We love you Amy Lou!
